System Requirements: Windows
- Windows® XP Professional or Windows® Vista Ultimate, Business, Enterprise Edition
- Note for Windows users: QuickTime 7 or later and Java 6 or later are required to run ArchiCAD.
- ArchiCAD installer will automatically install Java 6 and QuickTime 7 if they are not present on your computer.
- Intel® Pentium 4, or compatible processors with equal or higher performance

- 1 GB of RAM is required
- 2 GB or more is recommended for complex models

- Hard Drive Space:
- Minimum of 1 GB free hard disk space is required for a full installation.
- Additional 2 GB is required for work with complex projects and 3D visualization.
- 1024x768 resolution is required
- 1280x1024 or higher is recommended
- Open GL and DirectX 9 compatible graphic card with 256 MB or more on-board video memory is recommended to fully exploit hardware acceleration capabilities.

Virtual Construction

Structural

MaxonForm
Starting with ArchiCAD 12, Graphisoft will cease the development and distribution of MaxonForm. Technical support for existing MaxonForm licenses will continue to be available for a period of one (ending on March 27, 2009). The ArchiCAD 11 version of MaxonForm will be available until August 1, 2008. To ensure that creating free-form shapes continues to be possible for our users, we are releasing a free CINEMA 4D add-on that allows seamless data exchange between ArchiCAD 11 and C4D R10 10.5.
